🎁 ‘Twas Christmas Eve morn with a dawn sky aglow

There was frost on the ground and a sprinkling of snow

We all slumbered on, keeping warm in the bed

Dreaming of Christmas: Sue, Woody and Meg

🎁 A sharp knock on the door gave us all a surprise

On the doorstep stood Santa with a tray of mince pies

Unknown to me, way back in May

Woody applied to be Santa’s Helper, pulling his sleigh

🎁 He’s only been accepted, my very Best Boy!

Delivering gifts the world over, bringing happiness and joy

So off you go, Woody, with a jingling of bells

Safe journey. See you tomorrow when you return to the fells.
