18/09/2026 UPDATE  Buster is a lemon/white 6 year old boy who has just retired from his racing life. Buster is with us in a foster home and is getting used to all the new experiences. He is getting on with the hound he is living with, as well as the dogs he meets when out and about.  Buster loves a long walk then getting cosy on the armchair for a snooze.

Buster is just the loveliest boy, happy-go-lucky and friendly with everyone he meets. He could live with older children who are comfortable around a bouncy, friendly dog. We could cat test him, if required. Buster would like an active home with a secure garden. He could live with another hound or on his own. Please keep checking this page as well as our Facebook and Instagram as we will be posting updates as we get to know Buster more.

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING? – We are looking for people to welcome a hound, short term, into their home to help transition them from a racing life to an individual pet life. Guidelines and support will be given. We welcome enquiries to foster, preferably within Cumbria, but may consider further afield.
