Trailhound enthusiast Darren Clark, teamed up with Simone English and with kind permission of the Wath Brow Hound Trailing committee to put on a Hound Show in aid of Lakeland Trailhound Welfare. The show was held on Saturday 12th July at the Cold Fell Festival of Hound Trailing. The weather was very kind to us and 26 retired hounds from all over the country came to the show. On top of that, a number of hound trailing folk entered their hounds into the classes. Altogether, the hound show, merchandise and raffle made over £700! Thank you to everyone who attended and to Darren, Katie, Simone for organising the show. Thanks to Jackie from Foxhound Welfare UK for judging the classes. Also many thanks to Sally Wassell from Joely Mo Cake Company for donating a very special ‘Hounds on the Sofa’ cake for us to raffle!
